Verity Spott is a poet, blogger, teacher, carer and musician from Brighton, England, and publisher of the independent publishing house Iodine Press. Spott’s books include Click Away Close Door Say (2017), Prayers Manifestos Bravery (2018), Hopelessness (2020), Songs of the Morning (2023) and The North Road Songbook (2024). Since 2006, Spott has run the monthly poetry and performance event Horseplay in Brighton.

Dom Hale is an editor of Ludd Gang, the magazine of the Poets’ Hardship Fund, and Chaff Press. Recent books include First Nettles (The Last Books, 2025), Faint Portal (Distance No Object. 2023), and Mud Ramps (Gong Farm, 2025), a collaboration with the poet Tom Crompton. He lives in Manchester.
