Campfire by Antidote forms the last stage of an imaginary trail on the Dutch Mountain. It’s a collective closing ritual of Antidote Festival: The Paper Edition. Around the campfire, poet Maartje Smits shares new work from within the Dutch Mountain, written especially for the occasion. Social artist Domenique Himmelsbach de Vries leads a social experiment that gives a peek into our collective future, using the Himmelsbach Dutch Mountain Tarot. Indie-pop duo Ciao Lucifer plays an acoustic set that will get us dancing around the campfire.

Antidote Festival: The Paper Edition is a festival on paper that will be delivered at home. The festival takes place between the 11th and 17th of March, in the living rooms of its visitors. Six artistic contributions on paper form a trail on the Dutch Mountain.* It leads through the stages of Mapping & PackingSore Feet and VistasThe Campfire at Perdu marks the festival’s finale. The program should also be enjoyable for spectators that have not been to the paper festival.

*In the Dutch landscape a mountain is an illusion, a dream image, an oxymoron. The idea of a self-built mountain in the middle of this flat land got us fantasizing wildly about new futures and new communities. Together with artists from the fields of dance, theatre, performance and activism, Antidote collective decided to build and inhabit such a place for new ideas. If you missed the paper festival you will be able to get one at Perdu on the 17th.
