A diverse and rich collection of poetic voices. Join us for an evening where linguistic diversity and artistic expression converge, featuring the works of Tom Dreyer, Hannah van Binsbergen, Alwyn Roux, and Nachoem Wijnberg.

Tom Dreyer, is a South African novelist and poet, acclaimed for his work in both Afrikaans and English. His literary prowess is evident in his debut poetry collection, Nou in infrarooi, published in 2023 and already celebrated with multiple printings. Dreyer’s contribution to literature extends beyond poetry, with several of his novels receiving significant acclaim and awards.

Hannah van Binsbergen, is a poet and writer of fiction. She was the youngest person and only debutant to receive the prestigeous VSB poetry prize of the first collection of poetry, Kwaad Gesternte, along with the Belgian Herman de Coninck prize for best poetry debute.

Alwyn Roux, is a South African poet and academic, known for his scholarly and creative contributions to Afrikaans and Dutch literature. His debut poetry collection, Weerskyn, was released in February 2024 by Protea Boekhuis.

Nachoem M. Wijnberg, is a distinguished poet and author from the Netherlands. He holds a Ph.D. from the Rotterdam School of Management and has been a business administration lecturer at the University of Amsterdam since 2005. His accolades include the Ida Gerhardt Poëzieprijs in 2008 and the esteemed PC Hooftprijs in 2018.
