[CLOSED]Vacancy Bar Volunteers

Perdu, foundation for poetry and experiment, has been active for over 30 years in the cultural field of Amsterdam. Perdu is known as a space for stimulating special literature, and researching the relationships between this literature, other disciplines, and cultural and social developments.

As bar volunteer, you work behind the bar in the Perdu theatre during events. You serve drinks to visitors, refill the fridges, work in a hygienic manner, and work the cash register.

What knowledge or experience is required?

• You have experience working in the hospitality sector
• You stay calm and collected when things get busier
• You communicate in a pleasant way and keep the overview
• Good command of Dutch and/or English is preferable
• You’re used to flexible working hours and can work 3 to 4 shifts per month (around 4 hours a week)
• Preferably, you have diplomas in social hygiene and BHV
• You live in Amsterdam or the surrounding area
• Affinity with literature/poetry is a plus
