On May 22, Schrijverscollectief Kantlijn organizes Kantlijn Live, a festive evening in where the writers of Kantlijn perform for an audience with the theme of hot air balloons and dreamed destinations. The writers of Kantlijn, people who have not always had the wind at their back, are all colourful people with a talent for writing stories and poems. They promote this through publications and stage performances. The program on May 22 also includes performances by crime writer René Appel and novelist Mensje van Keulen.
The musical accompaniment is in the hands of Jean Koolen, singer and guitarist. Harold Konickx, singer-songwriter and Kantlijn teacher, will again provide the presentation of the evening.

The Kantlijn Foundation organizes weekly writing workshops in Amsterdam for anyone who wants to (learn to) write under the inspiring guidance of writing teachers from the writing profession. Kantlijn exists thanks to donations from the Friends of Kantlijn, subsidizers and funds. Want to become a donor? Visit www.kantlijn.org.
