Poetry reading

Join us for an evening of readings and conversation featuring the writers Holly Pester and Kate Briggs.

Turning to the novel with their latest book-projects, The Lodgers and The Long Form, Pester and Briggs in their own way explore the rhythms of the domestic, the matter of housing, homing, and the particularities of our wider social moment.

Kate Briggs is a writer and translator based in Rotterdam, where she teaches at the Piet Zwart Institute and co-runs the project Short Pieces That Move! She is the author of This Little Art, an essay, and The Long Form, a novel. She is currently working on the translations of two novels by Hélène Bessette.

Holly Pester is a poet and writer. She has worked in sound art and performance, with BBC Radio, Women’s Art Library and Wellcome Collection.
